Brain Advancement Center

What Is Neurofeedback?

Your brain is where the mind and body come together. Just like you can train your body to build stamina, strength, or flexibility, so can you train your brain. For thousands of years, people have used meditation and prayer to change the brain by training the mind. For the past 50 years, though, biofeedback technology has made a much faster and easier option possible: Change the mind by training the brain directly!

When you give your brain real-time information (feedback) about its energy levels, you can teach it to calm down or speed up, to shift more smoothly, and become more efficient. These changes carry over into your daily life.

What is Interactive Metronome (IM)

Interactive Metronome® (IM) is an evidence-based training and assessment tool. IM is shown to improve cognition, attention, focus, memory, speech/language, executive functioning, comprehension, as well as motor & sensory skills.

Brain Advancement Center

About Us

Brain Advancement Center was born from the notion that change is possible. While some people find lasting change through meaningful interactions with a trained counselor, others do not. This makes it important to offer those seeking solutions options. Some spend many years and thousands of dollars searching for something to help them feel better and do better in their daily lives, only to be met with frustration and disappointment. As counselors, we recognized this and set out on a journey to find solutions that would work. What we found was incredible, and we are excited to offer it to you!

Psychotherapy teaches us how to cope with and manage problem moods and behaviors. While some find relief from medications, pharmacologic solutions aren't meant to produce lasting change. Instead, prescription medications are meant to help people manage problems and do best when they are combined with other therapeutic options, such as counseling.
